Weekly round-up from your local Neighbourhood Team

Dear Residents

An update from your local Neighbourhood Police Team.

CRIME

Report of theft from a vehicle in Beaumont Crescent. Access was gained to the vehicle and a mobility scooter was stolen.

WHAT’s BEEN HAPPENING

An uninsured vehicle was pulled over and stopped by officers this week….Turns out the driver had drugs and possible stolen items in the vehicle. Driver was arrested and the vehicle seized.

Officers are always out and about in the neighbourhood checking vehicles that are being used illegally.

 SCHOOL PATROLS

Officers have been out in the mornings conducting school patrols this week. Vehicles were found to be parked on zig zag lines right outside the schools. This is not only unsafe for the children but creates unnecessary obstructions for other road users. Tickets were issued to offending motorists.

…And Finally

If you run a volunteer group or are a member of any kind of community group then please consider the Sherbourne Neighbourhood Police Team. We can come along to your group meetings and give crime prevention advice, Q&A sessions or just discuss concerns you may have within your community.

Please email the team directly by heading to the West Midlands Police website and search Sherboune Neighbourhood Team.

Enjoy your week ahead
